MANIPURA AYURVEDA Aromatherapy Pure Ginger essential oil 15 ML


Scientifically known as “Zingiber Officinale”, Ginger essential oil is popular for its multiple antiviral properties. It has a warm, spicy, sweet aroma. It has earned the nickname “The Oil of Empowerment” for the feeling of confidence that it is known to inspire.

This is native to the South of China however its growth has spread to other parts of Asia, India, the Moluccas, West Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. In ancient times, ginger root has been used to soothe inflammation, fever, cold, respiratory discomforts, nausea, menstrual complaints, upset stomachs, arthritis, and rheumatism.

In Aromatherapy, Ginger essential oil is stimulating and warming. It increases concentration and can soothe and reduce feelings of stress, sadness, anxiety, lethargy, agitation, dizziness, and fatigue


  1. It eases morning sickness and flu symptoms.
  2. It relieves body pain including arthritis.
  3. It helps to treat indigestion and sore throats.


How to uses


Ginger essential oil can be used for massages. Mix 2-3 drops of the essential oil into a carrier oil and blend it well.


Add 4-5 drops of Ginger essential oil to your bathtub or 3-4 drops to your bucket and swish the water gently to mix the oil well. If you have dry skin, add a tablespoon of vegetable oil along with the essential oil.


Use 4-5 drops of Ginger essential oil in a diffuser bowl filled with three-quarters of water. Essential oils should never be burnt directly as the chemical structure can get changed with an incinerator.


  • To relieve from sore throat and infections, take 1-2 drops in water and do gargles with it.
  • To cure travel sickness, nausea or uneasiness in the stomach put 1-2 drops on a tissue paper and inhale.
  • For Indigestion, mix Ginger essential oil with a carrier oil and gently massage it on the stomach in a circular motion.
